Boarding time – Pilot watches with a business look
Vintage charisma, yet totally up to date: the two new Laco pilot watches combine elegant retro designs with a touch of class. The 11-millimetre high case of the "Ulm" and "Würzburg" watches fits snugly onto the wearer's wrist, easily going under shirtsleeves too. The slim profile and balanced proportions of both timepieces makes them highly versatile - as stylish accessories for a variety of occasions, in business or leisure settings. Both models house a precision hand-wound Laco 98 movement and have a small second hand at the six o'clock position.
The attractive round 42.5 mm diameter case is in brushed stainless steel with a polished finish, and is also featured in both navy watches "Cuxhaven" and "Bremerhaven". The watch is pressure-resistant up to ten bars and has a distinctive crown. Both new models are operated with a traditional hand-wound Laco 98 movement, with a small second hand at the six o'clock position. This is based on the popular caliber Unitas 6498.1, extravagantly finished in Elaboré quality. Artistic ornamental grinding and blued screws set off the crystal caseback. A brown leather strap provides the finishing touch to a vintage, stylish look.
RETRO LOOK PAIRED WITH ELEGANCE
Both models have an inky black dial in a traditional instrument design, with thermally blued hands coated in luminous material, affording optimal legibility in all lighting conditions.
FUNCTIONALITY IN A BUSINESS LOOK
The "Ulm" model is based on the A design with Arabic numerals and pilot watch triangle at twelve o'clock, and the "Würzburg" model follows design B. The minute scale is arranged outside the inner circle displaying hours.
RETRO LOOK PAIRED WITH ELEGANCE
The small second hand at six o'clock emphasises the classic appearance of both models. Bright white numerals are in striking contrast to the dark background. Anti-reflective sapphire glass prevents annoying reflections.
