The new Laco 'Ulm' and 'Würzburg' impress – always and everywhere.

Small second - big caliber: A brief but apt description for the classic 42.5mm models in the current reissue. With the ETA 6498.2 movement, we have installed a small - or rather, great - rarity in the 'Ulm' and 'Würzburg'. The new 39 mm models impress with their compact size, suitable even for narrower wrists.

For all, it holds true: When seconds count, our four new timepieces are always the right choice.

The ETA 6498.2 caliber

A classic of watchmaking craftsmanship in the 42.5mm variant.

Once used in pocket watches,

this legendary caliber is now rarely found.

In the larger variants of the 'Ulm' and 'Würzburg', the reliable and proven timekeeper can be admired through the particularly large sapphire crystal case back. The 39 mm models are equipped with the equally reliable Sellita SW261. Both movements are intricately decorated, showcasing traditional finishes such as decorative cuts and thermally blued screws.

Small second - big impact

Fine details for the true connoisseur.

Both models feature a black dial in the classic instrument style of historical pilot watches. True to the original, the 'Ulm' dial follows the Type A type with Arabic numerals and a pilot watch triangle at twelve o'clock. The 'Würzburg' model is inspired by the Type B type – with an outer minute track and an inner hour circle. A subtle yet impactful detail is the small second subdial at six o'clock, which elegantly and harmoniously integrates into the design.

The dynamically elegant look of the 'Ulm' and 'Würzburg' is owed to the striking combination of matte and polished surfaces. Additionally, the use of hand-wound movements allows for the implementation of an exceptionally slim case.

Thus, the larger models have a height of less than 11 mm, while the smaller variants are even slimmer at 9.7 mm. This ensures that the watches fit comfortably under any shirt cuff, guaranteeing an elegant appearance in the office.

The 39 mm models

Authentic pilot watches in a compact dimension.

The reissue of the 'Ulm' and 'Würzburg' models also comes in an additional variant with a 39 mm diameter. With the reduced size, the two compact midsize models fit particularly well on narrower wrists, making them also an ideal choice for all female Laco enthusiasts. Completing the classically elegant pilot watches is a brown strap made of smooth leather.

Always clearly readable

The premise of every Laco pilot watch

With maximum contrast, the numerals and indices coated with Superluminova C3 stand out clearly against the dark background. For optimal readability in all lighting conditions, the hands, in the typical lozenge shape for pilot watches with thermally blued frames, are also coated with luminous material.
